Bay Smokes' GMO THCa Live Hash Rosin is a batter-texture live hash rosin from "fresh, frozen flowers from local US farms," pressed through 40–120µ screens, with "no additives or reintroduced terpenes." The product page links a batch COA from Accurate Test Labs showing 73.83% THCA, no detectable delta-9 and 64.75% total THC. It comes in 1g ($49.99), 2g ($95.99) and 4g ($179.99), so the per-gram price drops to $45. Where it falls short: the linked COA is dated February 2025 and covers potency only, and the site gives two different free-shipping thresholds ($77 and $100). It does not ship THCA to AR, ID, MN, OR or RI (shipping policy).

The product page links its Badger Labs batch COA: 86.72% THCA, 76.18% total THC. Our Juicy Jet batch posts 86.07% THCA. 1g jars were $44 when we checked. Where others win: Bay Smokes sells bigger single jars at a lower per-gram price and accepts unopened returns; Arete's 1g is two cents cheaper; our jars come in 1g only (the live rosin bundle lowers the per-gram cost), and all sales are final. Crysp's Mandarin Kush Cold Cure Tier 1 states its grade outright: Tier 1, 90–120µ. It posts 75.58% THCA and 0.28% delta-9 with a COA PDF, and comes in 1g to 8g. It was $49.99 for 1g, on sale for $42.49 when we checked. Crysp also sells "Reserve Batch" and live rosin jam lines. Where it falls short: the product page does not say fresh-frozen, and it does not name the testing lab.
4. Flow Gardens — 75
Flow Gardens' Premium Live Hash Rosin is flash-frozen, cold-cured live hash rosin at a stated 73–159µ grade. Its COA page has a Garlic Drip live rosin COA from Green Leaf Lab showing 79.32% THCA. Where it falls short: it sells only a 2g jar ($120, so $60 per gram), the product page posts no THCA number, we could not confirm the COA matches the jar, it was sold out, and "all sales are final" (policy).
5. Arete — 74
Arete's Sour Diesel THCa Hash Rosin is $43.98 for 1g, posts 79.9% THCa, and links a lot-specific COA right on the product page; Arete's lab page lists hundreds of reports. Shipping is free over $100, and Arete does not ship to Colorado. Where it falls short: the jar page does not say fresh-frozen or give a micron range.
6. Roz From Frasier — 68
Roz's GMO THCa Hash Rosin posts 75.5% THCA, and its extraction page describes rosin pressed from fresh-frozen bubble hash and cold cured. It lists 26 rosin products. Where it falls short: the smallest size is 2g, one $88 price shows for every size, the COA is a Google Drive link we could not open, rosin cannot be returned (policy), and free shipping starts at $500 (FAQ).
7. The Hemp Collect — 65
The Hemp Collect's Modern Herb Co Live Rosin Dab is $50 for 1g, or $35 on a first subscription order, in four strains. It publishes batch-specific COA pages per strain and free shipping starts at $75. Where it falls short: no THCA percentage on the product page ("Max Potency" only), no fresh-frozen claim, and the money-back guarantee covers unopened items within 5 days (policy).
8. Lucky Elk — 63
Lucky Elk's In-House Live Hash Rosin is fresh-frozen and cold cured, posts 82.22% THCA, and sits in a five-tier rosin lineup with 254 reviews. Where it falls short: no COA for this product (its COA page has only a generic rosin image), one price for four sizes, every rosin tier was sold out when we checked, and no returns once an order ships (policy).
9. SimplyMary — 55
SimplyMary's Uvas Rosin was the lowest sticker price at $39.99 for 1g, grown in indoor living soil. Where it falls short: the product page does not say what kind of rosin it is, posts no THCA, and there is no COA for it on the COA page. No returns for any reason (policy).
10. Carolina Hemp Cafe — 50
Carolina Hemp Cafe's White Truffle Live Rosin is $45 for 1g and accepts unused returns within 30 days (policy). Carolina Hemp Cafe also publishes its own "best THCA rosin" list, which ranks itself first. Where it falls short: the title says "80% THCA," but the listed THCA is 69.14% (80% is total cannabinoids); the ingredients list "natural cannabis terpenes"; there is no product COA (only a general lab page); and it was sold out.

What Makes THCA Rosin "Best"
- Fresh-frozen (live) starting flower. Drying costs terpenes. If the page does not say fresh-frozen or live, ask. More in Hash Rosin vs. Live Rosin.
- A batch COA linked from the product. Only four of the ten brands here linked one directly. Check the strain and lot match your jar, and learn the numbers in how to read a THCA COA.
- A stated micron range. It tells you which trichome heads were pressed. Ranges in this list ran from 40–120µ to 73–159µ.
- Nothing added. Rosin should not list terpenes as an ingredient. If it tastes like candy, read Live Rosin vs. Distillate.
- A price that fits the grade. Verified 1g prices here ran $39.99–$60 per gram. Live rosin far below that deserves questions.
Is THCA Rosin Worth It?
If you want a solventless concentrate that tastes like the plant, yes. Rosin costs more than live resin or distillate because fresh-frozen flower gives up only a small fraction of its weight as hash and every batch is washed and pressed by hand. If you mainly want the most THC per dollar, distillate is cheaper. If you would rather not dab, the same rosin comes in a live rosin disposable pen ($49 $39); our THCA vape comparison scores those.
Will THCA Rosin Get You High?
Yes, once it is heated. Raw THCA is not intoxicating; a hot banger, a vape coil or a lighter converts it to delta-9 THC. Labs estimate the result as THCA × 0.877 plus any delta-9, so 86.72% THCA works out to about 76% total THC. That is strong: start with a rice-grain-sized dab at about 450–550°F and wait 10–15 minutes before more. Do not drive after use, and talk to a doctor first if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication. It will show on a drug test.
Are THCA Rosin Products Legal? (As of November 2, 2026)
As of November 2, 2026, hemp-derived THCA rosin is sold under the 2018 Farm Bill, which limits hemp to 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight and does not count THCA toward that limit. That changes on December 11, 2026, when the federal hemp definition shifts to total THC, including THCA, with a 0.4 mg per container cap. A gram of rosin at about 76% total THC holds roughly 760 mg. For rosin specifically, the brands that scored highest in our November 2026 comparison were the ones that showed their work: a live (fresh-frozen) extract, a THCA percentage on the page and a batch COA linked from the product. Bay Smokes and Diesel Hemp tied at 95, followed by Crysp at 80.
What is the difference between live rosin and hash rosin?
Hash rosin is pressed from ice-water hash. Live rosin is hash rosin whose hash came from fresh-frozen flower instead of dried, cured flower, so it keeps more terpenes. Several brands in this list sell "live hash rosin," which means the same thing as live rosin.
Can you return THCA rosin?
Usually not. Of the brands we checked, Lucky Elk, Flow Gardens, SimplyMary and Roz From Frasier do not accept rosin returns, and Diesel Hemp's sales are final. Bay Smokes and Carolina Hemp Cafe accept returns on unused, unopened items within 30 days.
