Delta 10

What is Delta 10? Delta-10-Tetrahydrocannabinol Delta 10 THC is a synthetic isomer created in 1980 which is (until recently) most commonly found in impure Delta 8 products and is thought to be created my the degradation of Delta 8. Delta 10 is a  naturally occurring cannabinoid found in cannabis plants, but it is very rare. The Delta 10 that is being sold in hemp products is NOT naturally occurring. In fact, it is made in a lab and there is a very good chance, it was not an FDA or GMP facility. The Delta 10 found in hemp products is made in a lab by converting CBD to Delta 10. The process of converting the CBD is by no means a simple process and the chemicals used are acids, similar to battery acid. There are reputable labs creating Delta 10 but it is almost impossible to trace a product back to the lab it was made. Regulations in the hemp CBD industry are very lacks and it creates subpar products on the market that could be hazardous to your health. Will Delta 10 get you high? Yes, Delta 10 is Delta 9’s and Delta 8’s little brother. Similar to Delta 9, Delta 10 will get you high, but nowhere near the effects of Delta 9. Delta 10 has less of effect then Delta 9 and Delta 8. Delta 10 vs Delta 8 Delta 8, Delta 9 and Delta 10 will all get you high. Each cannabinoid has its own effects The effects can also be changed by the terpene profile in the product. Terpenes interact with cannabinoids in what is called the Entourage Effect. The Entourage Effect is the reason different cannabis strains have different effects which some people refer to as Indica or Sativa. Delta 8 is about half as strong as Delta 9 and Delta 10 is about half as strong as Delta 8.  Delta 8 has been reported to created some anxiety or paranoia, feelings which are also caused by Delta 9. Delta 10 is a very mild high and is thought to be best for first time cannabis users. What are the differences: Delta 8 vs Delta 10? The molecular structure of delta-8 causes a more potent high than delta-10. Delta 10 also interacts with your endo-cannabinoid system differently then Delta 8, mainly the cannabinoid 1 (CB1) receptors. Delta 8 has a double bond on the 8th carbon and Delta 10 has a double bond on the 10th carbon which is why Delta 8 gets you more high than Delta 10. Basically the lower the bond on the carbon, the higher you will get because it binds to your receptors for a longer time What are the differences: Delta 10 vs HHC? Delta 10 is actually a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in cannabis while HHC is strictly synthetic. That being said, Delta 10 and Delta 8 are still made in a lab because it is more cost effective. The “high” from HHC is different as well. It takes a stronger dose to get the same effects as Delta 8 or Delta 10. Rumor has it that HHC will not show up on a drug test as well. Is Delta 10 safe? Delta 10 is safe to consume. it is more important you find a reputable company to buy Delta 10 because there are certain chemicals used in the extraction and conversion process that are harmful to your health. Is Delta 10 legal? Currently Delta 10 is federally legal and protected under the 2018 Federal Farm Bill unlike Delta 9 which is federally illegal. This is the main reason for the popularity of Delta 10, the ability for customers to buy it in states that do not have legal Delta 9. Some states have taken it upon themselves to make Delta 10 illegal including Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, Utah. Recreational Effects As a true sativa, Durban Poison is like a rush of both physical and mental energy, a jolt into an altered state of mind in which you feel more sociable and chatty and all your heightened senses are more responsive to your surroundings. In that sense, this is the quintessential daytime strain, with some users ticking off a lot of items on their to-do list with its help. Or, if you’re the type to consume cannabis strictly recreationally, with no productivity aspirations, Durban Poison can be like a magnifying glass or a bird’s eye view, enhancing the details, nuances, and patterns of movies and other forms of art. In the same vein, many consumers also use this strain to get their own creative juices flowing. Medicinal Effects From a medical standpoint, Durban Poison can only provide relief from mental issues rather than physical ones through its mood-enhancing properties and ability to fully submerge you into the wondrous bubbles of your favourite hobbies.
