White Gushers Strain: The Frostiest Name in the Gushers Family
The White Gushers strain is, in most jars, Gushers under its frostiest name: Gelato #41 crossed with Triangle Kush, grown out so white with trichomes that the menu name changed. It smells like a pouch of tropical fruit snacks with a sour citrus edge, finishes creamy with a little gas, and delivers a happy, euphoric lift that settles into a tingly, relaxed body. It fits the dessert corner of our THCA flower collection.
The name now covers more than one plant, though. Leafly treats White Gushers as an alias of Gushers, AllBud calls it a phenotype of Gushers, and in 2025 Dutch Passion released a separate seed strain called White Gushers #33 with different parents. Below: which White Gushers is which, how each differs from regular Gushers, the terpenes, how the high unfolds, how strong it really is, how to use it, how to grow it, and how to judge a bag.
A 360° look at White Gushers' frosty buds.

- Type: Indica-leaning hybrid. AllBud lists it 60% indica / 40% sativa and "slightly indica dominant"; Dutch Passion's White Gushers #33 is listed around 70% indica.
- Ancestry (the clone name): Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush — the same cross as Gushers. AllBud describes White Gushers as "a phenotype of Gushers."
- Ancestry (the seed line): White Gushers #33 from Dutch Passion is Triangle Sherbet Kush × Gelato #33, per SeedFinder.
- Breeder: No breeder is credited for the White Gushers clone name. Gushers itself is credited to Cookie Fam Genetics and was put into wide circulation through Connected Cannabis Co.
- THC: AllBud 15–20%; Leafly 20%, with a 15–25% range; Dutch Passion 20–25% for #33.
- CBD: Negligible — Leafly lists 0%, Dutch Passion about 0.1%.
- Aliases: White Gusherz, Gushers, Fruit Gushers. Leafly's Fruit Gushers page lists White Gushers and Gusherz as alternate names.
White Gushers vs Gushers: Is It the Same Strain?
Mostly, yes — with one real exception. There are three ways you will see the name used:
- 1. An alias of Gushers. Leafly files White Gushers under Fruit Gushers, Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush. Many menus use "White Gushers" and "Gushers" for the same cut.
- 2. A frosty phenotype of Gushers. AllBud describes a specific Gushers phenotype with tiny, deep olive-green buds and an "insanely frosty" coat — the white in the name is the trichomes, not a different parent. Cuts labeled "White Gusherz" circulate as clones, and different cuts can smell and hit differently.
- 3. A different seed strain: White Gushers #33. Dutch Passion's limited release with breeder Antonio swaps both parents — Triangle Sherbet Kush instead of Triangle Kush, Gelato #33 instead of Gelato #41. It has since been crossed again into White Gushers Cake (White Gushers #33 × Ice Cream Cake #1).
So what's the actual difference? A true White Gushers cut should be Gushers with heavier frost and, by most reports, a slightly sharper sour-citrus edge on the candy. White Gushers #33 is related in spirit but genetically separate: more acidic, gassy and earthy, with some phenotypes turning creamy like ice cream. Our full Gushers strain guide covers the parent cut in depth.
White Gushers Terpene Profile
There's no published terpene lab data specific to the White Gushers name, so the profile below follows Gushers. Leafly lists limonene, caryophyllene, pinene and linalool; strain guides drawing on legal-market lab data put limonene around 0.4–0.8% and beta-caryophyllene around 0.3–0.7%, with myrcene and humulene behind them and total terpenes near 1.5–2.5% in good indoor flower.
Terpene Profile — Relative Intensity
Limonene — sour citrus and candy lift
Caryophyllene — pepper, the Triangle Kush gas
Linalool — floral, calm body
Myrcene — earthy, relaxed floor
Typical relative profile for White Gushers, based on Gushers data. Frostier, citrus-forward cuts read more limonene-led; Dutch Passion's #33 can lean floral-spicy.
- Limonene: The bright, sour-citrus top note and much of the fruit-candy pop that gives the strain its name.
- Caryophyllene: The peppery, faintly gassy backbone from the Triangle Kush side — the only common terpene known to act directly on CB2 receptors.
- Linalool: Floral and soft; it shows up in the creamy finish and the calm body. One grower of White Gushers #33 described the trim smell as "floral-spicy, slightly linalool-leaning."
- Myrcene: Earthy and musky; it deepens the relaxed, heavy-limbed side at higher doses.
The "gusher" flavor isn't one terpene — it's the Gelato #41 side's sweet, fruity chemistry sitting on top of Triangle Kush fuel.
Appearance
This is the part of the strain that earned the name. AllBud describes "tiny spade-shaped deep olive green nugs" with thin, clear amber hairs, coated in chunky crystal trichomes for an "insanely frosty appearance." Gushers cuts in general run lime-to-forest green with lavender or plum streaks and orange-to-amber pistils; the White Gushers cut is the one where the frost buries most of that color. Good jars look almost sugar-dipped and stay sticky when you break them.
Aroma and Flavor
Open the jar and you get sweet fruity berries first, then a sharp sour-citrus accent — AllBud's wording. Grind it and the tropical candy comes forward: Leafly's tasting notes on Fruit Gushers are pineapple, mango and vanilla. The inhale is creamy tropical fruit and sweet berry; the exhale adds a touch of spice and a light, earthy gas from the Triangle Kush. Some AllBud reviewers describe a "moderate but fairly tamed chem flavor" and lemon-lime notes. Dutch Passion's White Gushers #33 reads differently — "acidic, fruity and gassy," with some phenotypes finishing creamy like ice cream.
Recreational Effects
White Gushers starts in the head and ends in the body. AllBud describes a "subtle build of tingly body effects," then relaxation with a lifted mood on top. The most commonly reported effects across AllBud, Leafly and dispensary listings:
- Euphoric and happy: the headline effect — a quick mood lift.
- Uplifted and creative: Leafly's top tags for Fruit Gushers; the first hour is social and chatty.
- Tingly: a warm body buzz that builds slowly rather than hitting all at once.
- Relaxed: the body settles without much fog at moderate doses; heavier at high doses.
- Clear-headed (for some): one AllBud reviewer said it "leaves you quite awake" — cuts vary.
How the high unfolds: onset, peak and duration
- First 10–15 minutes: a light, euphoric head change and brighter mood.
- Around 45 minutes: the peak — happy and talkative up top, tingly and loose below.
- 2–3 hours: a slow settle into body calm. At higher doses this is where the couch starts to win.
Those timings come from Gushers strain guides; individual batches and tolerance shift them.

White Gushers' frost-heavy buds break apart sticky — a metal grinder keeps the trichomes in the bowl.

How Strong Is White Gushers?
White Gushers is a mid-to-high potency strain, and the numbers depend a lot on which source and which cut you mean:
- AllBud: 15–20% THC.
- Leafly (Fruit Gushers): 20%, with a typical 15–25% range.
- Gushers lab data: strain guides cite 18–25% for well-grown indoor batches, with occasional outliers above 26%.
- Dutch Passion White Gushers #33: 20–25% in the description; its limited-edition info goes as high as 25–30%. GrowDiaries lists 23%.
In practice, a good White Gushers batch hits about like a good Gushers batch — strong enough for regular users, not a knockout by modern standards. The frost makes it look stronger than the averages suggest, so read the lab report, not the jar.
THCA flower is labeled differently from dispensary flower: the lab reports THCA, which converts to THC when heated, plus a small amount of delta-9 THC. When you compare a batch of White Gushers against the 15–25% range above, compare total THC on the COA, not the headline number — our guide on how to read a THCA flower COA walks through the math.
White Gushers vs Similar Strains
- vs Gushers: the same Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush cross. White Gushers is the name for frostier cuts, often with a sharper sour-citrus edge. If a menu lists both side by side, ask for the COA and terpene numbers — they may be the same plant.
- vs White Gushers #33: a different plant with the same nickname. Triangle Sherbet Kush × Gelato #33, more acidic and gassy, heavier in the body (about 70% indica).
- vs White Runtz: AllBud reviewers compare the two. Both are frosty candy strains; White Runtz is Zkittlez × Gelato and sweeter, while White Gushers has more tropical fruit and a bit more gas.
- vs Gush Mints: a Gushers grandchild — Kush Mints × (F1 Durb × Gushers). Same candy fruit, plus cool mint and a heavier, sleepier finish.
- vs Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush: the parents. Gelato #41 is the sweet, creamy, colorful side; Triangle Kush is the earthy fuel and weight. White Gushers sits between them.
- vs Ice Cream Cake: the other half of White Gushers Cake. Ice Cream Cake is creamier and more sedating.
Who White Gushers Is (and Isn't) For
Good fit: fans of candy and tropical-fruit strains, late-afternoon or evening sessions, anyone who wants a mood lift without a racing head, and people who buy on bag appeal.
Poor fit: anyone chasing a wake-and-bake energy strain, or someone who wants pure gas. On our shelf, Straw Gua Mintz is the closest fruit-and-frost match, though it leans more sativa than White Gushers; for a heavier, indica-leaning dessert finish, Blueberry Pancakes is the better evening pick.
How to Use White Gushers THCA Flower — and How Much
THCA has to be heated to do anything. Raw, it isn't intoxicating; heat converts it to THC (decarboxylation), which is why the method matters as much as the strain.
- Smoking (joint, pipe, bong): the fastest onset. Take one or two small hits, then wait 10–15 minutes before deciding on more.
- Dry-herb vaporizer: the best way to taste the candy fruit before the gas. Around 350–375°F keeps the citrus and berry; 390–410°F brings out the spice and body.
- Pre-rolls: the no-prep option — see our THCA pre-rolls.
- Homemade edibles: decarb the flower first. Edibles take 30–120 minutes to kick in and last far longer, so start low and wait the full two hours.
How much? New or occasional users: one or two small puffs, then wait 15 minutes. Regular users usually find two or three hits delivers the full head-to-body arc. You can always add more; you can't take it back.
Medicinal Benefits
These are uses consumers report on AllBud and Leafly, not established clinical outcomes. Individual response varies with dose, tolerance and chemotype.
- Stress: the most consistent theme — a mood lift followed by body calm.
- Low mood: AllBud lists depression among reported uses, in line with the euphoric headline effect.
- Aches and tension: AllBud reviewers mention chronic pain; the tingly body high is the reason.
- Appetite and nausea: AllBud lists both; Gushers guides also note appetite stimulation.
- Fatigue: some cuts read clear and awake enough for daytime use.

Side Effects and Cautions
- Dry mouth and dry eyes — the most common complaints for Gushers and White Gushers #33.
- Dizziness or couchlock — reported at higher doses.
- Anxiety — listed among the negatives for White Gushers #33, usually from overdoing it on low tolerance.
Is White Gushers good for sleep? It can help you wind down, and higher doses get heavy, but it's more of a relax-and-unwind strain than a knockout. Don't drive after using it, and talk to your doctor first if you take prescription medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a heart condition.
Is White Gushers Top Shelf? How to Judge a Good Bag
- Ask which White Gushers. A good seller knows whether it's the Gushers cut (Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush) or Dutch Passion's #33. If they can't say, assume it's Gushers.
- Frost is the whole point. The name promises a white, sugar-coated bud. A dull, green jar labeled White Gushers is just a name.
- A current third-party COA naming the lab, with THCA, delta-9 and total THC. Ours are on the lab results page.
- Candy fruit and sour citrus on the nose, with only a light gas finish. Mostly fuel with no fruit suggests a different cut.
- A proper cure — sticky but not wet, and no hay or grass smell.
Growing White Gushers
If you want White Gushers from seed, you're almost certainly growing Dutch Passion's White Gushers #33; the Gushers-cut version moves as clones. Both are indica-leaning, medium-height plants that respond well to training.
- Flowering: about 8–9 weeks. SeedFinder lists roughly 63–65 days for #33; Gushers cuts typically ripen between day 56 and 65.
- Yield: Dutch Passion rates #33 high indoors and outdoors; Gushers guides cite 450–600 g/m² indoors under strong LED.
- Structure: compact and vigorous per the breeder, good for SOG or SCROG. One GrowDiaries grower found a looser, leafier plant with foxtailing that ran well past nine weeks — so watch the trichomes, not the calendar.
- Outdoors: harvest around October in the Northern Hemisphere.
- Seeds: White Gushers #33 is feminized only; White Gushers Cake (#33 × Ice Cream Cake #1) is the follow-up release.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is White Gushers the same as Gushers?
Usually. Leafly lists White Gushers as an alias of Gushers, and AllBud calls it a frosty phenotype of Gushers — both Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush. The exception is Dutch Passion's White Gushers #33, a separate seed strain bred from Triangle Sherbet Kush × Gelato #33.
Is White Gushers indica or sativa?

The common clone version is Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush, the same cross as Gushers. Dutch Passion's White Gushers #33 is Triangle Sherbet Kush × Gelato #33.
How strong is White Gushers?

What are the effects of White Gushers?
Consumers report a euphoric, happy, uplifted start, then a tingly body buzz that settles into relaxation. Higher doses get heavier.
Why is it called White Gushers?
The 'white' refers to the heavy trichome frost on the buds; 'Gushers' is the candy-fruit parent strain and the fruit-snack flavor it's named after.
What's the difference between White Gushers and White Gushers #33?
White Gushers is usually a frosty Gushers cut (Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush). White Gushers #33 is Dutch Passion's 2025 seed strain from Triangle Sherbet Kush × Gelato #33 — more acidic and gassy, and more indica.
Is White Gushers good for sleep?
It can help you wind down in the evening, and higher doses get heavy, but most people describe it as relaxing rather than sedating.
Is White Gushers good for anxiety?
Some consumers report it helps with stress and anxiety at low doses, but anxiety is also listed as a possible negative, especially for low-tolerance users. Start small.
How long does White Gushers take to flower?
About 8–9 weeks indoors — roughly 63–65 days for Dutch Passion's #33 — with outdoor harvests around October.
