Why This Flower Is Marked Down
Three honest reasons, and none of them is "it's bad":

- Odd remaining countsWhen a strain is down to single-digit units, it's not worth featuring on the main collection. It goes here instead of going stale.
- Strains that didn't reorderSome genetics we love don't sell the way we expected. That's a marketing problem, not a quality problem, and you get the upside.
What we don't do is buy cheap outdoor flower from a broker to fill a clearance page. Every strain here is grown by us, and every batch has a current COA on our test results page.
Is THCA Flower Going Away?
This is the question people are actually asking, so here's the straight answer rather than a sales pitch.
Federal restrictions on hemp-derived THC were signed into law with a November 12, 2026 effective date. On September 3, 2026, President Trump signed a spending bill that pushed naturally derived hemp THC restrictions to December 11, 2026. Synthetically derived cannabinoids — delta-8, delta-10, THCP — did not get that extension and still face the earlier November 12 date.
THCA flower is naturally derived. It falls under the December 11 date as things stand today.
We're not going to pretend to know exactly how this lands, because nobody does — the date has already been extended once and there is active litigation and lobbying on every side of it. If you have strains you like, buying them now rather than in December is a reasonable thing to do. That's not urgency marketing; it's the calendar.
What Cheap THCA Flower Actually Costs Per Gram
Ounce pricing is how this category advertises, and it hides more than it reveals. Per-gram math is how you compare honestly:

We are not the cheapest flower on the internet and we're not going to claim to be. A $50 ounce is roughly $1.79 a gram and we can't grow indoor flower for that. If per-gram price is the only thing that matters to you, buy the $50 ounce — plenty of shops sell it, and some of it is fine.
What you're paying the difference for here is indoor and light-dep flower that was priced at $99 a half ounce on its merits before it was marked down. Going up in size is still the biggest lever you have: moving from an eighth to a half ounce cuts your per-gram cost roughly in half.
Why We Sell Half Ounces Instead of Ounces
Straight answer: our lineup is built around the 14g half ounce, and right now that's what we have in stock. We've run full ounces before — Strawnana at $89 down from $130, and 1oz Smalls in the $69–79 range — and we'll run them again when a harvest supports it.
The reason we default to half ounces is that we release a lot of strains in small batches. Splitting a run into half ounces means more people get to try a strain instead of four buyers taking the whole harvest. It's a worse deal for someone stocking a fridge and a better one for someone who wants variety.
If you want volume pricing now, two routes work: THCA bundles package multiple strains at a set price, and anything above personal quantities goes through wholesale, where pounds and bulk tiers live.
Clearance vs. Smalls vs. Popcorn Buds: Know What You're Buying
These get used interchangeably across the industry and they mean genuinely different things:

How to Tell Clearance Flower From Flower That's Just Old
Discounted flower and degraded flower look similar in a product photo. They don't look similar in person:
- Check the harvest date, not the listing date. If a seller won't publish one, assume the worst. Cannabinoids and terpenes both degrade with time and light.
- Look at the COA date. A lab report from 14 months ago is not a current potency claim.
- Watch for crumble. Flower that turns to dust in your fingers has been dried out, not just discounted.
- Smell is the giveaway. Terpenes go first. Hay, cardboard, or nothing at all means the aroma has already left.
- Be skeptical of permanent sales. A "clearance" price that never changes was just the price.

Shops and distributors work from a different math than retail buyers, and clearance lots are often exactly what a bulk buyer wants — real indoor flower at a price that leaves room for margin.

Shipping and State Restrictions
Hemp-derived THCA flower is federally legal today under the USDA hemp framework when it tests under 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis — subject to the December 11, 2026 change described above.
State law is a separate question and it has moved fast in 2026.
