Pink Rozay Strain

Pink Rozay Strain: The Cookies Dessert Indica That Tastes Like Strawberries and Rose Petals

The Pink Rozay strain is one of the prettiest things out of the Cookies camp — a dense, indica-leaning dessert hybrid that smells like a strawberry rose bouquet and hits like a weighted blanket. It's hard to find on the hemp side, so we'll point you to the closest thing in our THCA flower collection instead.

The lineage is documented even if one parent's spelling isn't. SeedFinder credits Cookie Fam Genetics with Lemonchello #10 x London Poundcake #75; AllBud and licensed Canadian menus write it Lemonchello 10 x Lemon Pound Cake 75.

Pink Rozay Strain Genetics & Lineage

Modern Cookies-family genetics — sherbet, cake and cherry all the way down, which is why it tastes nothing like the gas end of the menu:

  • Type: Indica-dominant hybrid. AllBud says ~80/20 indica, Leafly files it as indica, Weedmaps calls it a hybrid.
  • Parents: Lemonchello #10 x LPC 75. SeedFinder writes LPC as London Poundcake #75; AllBud and Ontario Cannabis Store menus write Lemon Pound Cake 75. London Pound Cake #75 is a documented Cookies cut and Lemon Pound Cake isn't, so "Lemon" looks like an inherited typo — unproven either way.
  • Breeder: Cookie Fam Genetics per SeedFinder; Weedmaps credits "the breeders at Cookies." I Love Growing Marijuana ties it to Collins Ave, the Cookies and Rick Ross brand launched July 2020 — real brand, but no Cookies document names this strain.
  • Minor cannabinoids: Leafly lists 1% CBG; Leafwell 0.32% CBD plus trace CBG, CBN, CBC — single-batch, not constants.
  • Aliases: Weedmaps also indexes Pink Rose, Pink Rosay, Pink Rozay Kush.
  • Offspring: Leafly lists Lychee and Smackerz; SeedFinder adds Pink Rozay x Londoon Jelly (Tiki Madman) plus reproductions from Blim Burn and Zamnesia.
  • Awards: none we could verify.

London Pound Cake 75 — where the body weight comes from

Cookies' own dispensary page lists LPC #75 as Sunset Sherbert x NIP OG, cool menthol into earthy OG. That's the half working on your shoulders, and the OG side explains the pepper under the fruit. Sunset Sherbet is where the creamy sweetness comes from, and trace it far enough and you hit GSC. Our London Pound Cake entry digs deeper.

Lemonchello #10 — where the brightness comes from

Murkier. SeedFinder's genealogy for Limoncello shows Cherry Pie crossed with an unidentified parent marked only as a possible "Lemonade," and Cherry Pie traces to Durban Poison and Granddaddy Purple — which explains the red-fruit sweetness and the purple, since GDP carries anthocyanins.

Pink Rozay Terpene Profile

Sources disagree here, and we'd rather say so than average them into a fake number. Leafly names caryophyllene dominant with myrcene and limonene behind it. I Love Growing Marijuana lists myrcene, caryophyllene, pinene and carene. JointCommerce's aggregated dispensary data puts limonene highest at 0.4–0.9%, then beta-caryophyllene 0.3–0.7%, myrcene 0.2–0.6% and linalool 0.1–0.3%.

Everyone agrees on the shape: a peppery-sweet base with a floral top note. Linalool is what "rose petal" is pointing at — the same compound that makes lavender smell like lavender.

Terpene Profile — Relative Intensity

Caryophyllene — the black-pepper bite under the fruit

Limonene — citrus lift from the Lemonchello side

Myrcene — the ripe, soft, earthy body weight

Linalool — the rose-and-lavender top note it's named for

These bars blend Leafly's dominance ranking with JointCommerce's aggregated dispensary percentages — not a single COA. Read the lab sheet on whatever jar you buy.

Humulene, pinene and terpinolene show up in traces on Leafwell's list — the faint hoppy edge behind the strawberry.

Appearance

AllBud describes dense, spade-shaped olive-green nugs with deep pink and purple undertones, bright orange hairs and a frosty coat of purple-tinted trichomes. Leafly is more restrained — frosty nugs in muted green and orange — so the purple isn't guaranteed every run.

Normal for anthocyanin genetics: cool nights in late flower pull the pinks out, a warm tent gives plain green. Expect tight golf-ball nugs, not foxtailed colas.

Aroma and Flavor

Crack the jar and most people get strawberry first. AllBud tags the aroma fruity, herbal, nutty, spicy, strawberry, sweet. Leafly goes elsewhere — rose, flowery, lavender. Weedmaps' reported split lands between them: sweet 43%, flowery 32%, rose 25%.

Both describe the same smoke: fruit on the inhale, florals on top, cake dough underneath, pepper on the exhale. If you've smoked Lemon Cherry Gelato or Biscotti, same neighborhood, flowers instead of gas.

Recreational Effects

This is a sit-down strain. Leafly's top three reported effects are aroused, relaxed and sleepy. AllBud reviewers report euphoria, relaxation, tingles and an uplifted mood, several describing a slow build into heavy sleepiness — one flagging it as not for novices.

  • Relaxed — the most reported effect on both Leafly and AllBud
  • Euphoric and happy — a real mood lift before the body catches up
  • Sleepy — top three on Leafly; end-of-night sedation per AllBud
  • Tingly and body-heavy — warmth in the limbs, not a racing head
  • Hungry — appetite stimulation, repeatedly, in reviewer notes

How the high unfolds: onset, peak and duration

  • 0–5 minutes (inhaled): behind the eyes first, light pressure and a mood lift
  • 5–20 minutes: head settles, body starts loading — where people underestimate it
  • 20–40 minutes: peak. Limbs heavy, snack drawer interesting
  • 1–3 hours: long taper — most reviewers drift off rather than come down
  • Edibles or decarbed flower: 45 minutes to 2 hours to onset, 4–6 hours total

How Strong Is Pink Rozay?

The published numbers are all over the place. Every figure we found:

  • AllBud: 16–18%; one reviewer self-reported a 25.75% batch
  • Leafly: 21% THC and 1% CBG
  • Weedmaps: "up to 25%"
  • MunchMakers: 18–24%, under 1% CBD
  • I Love Growing Marijuana: typically 15–20%, noting higher claims elsewhere
  • Leafwell: 16–18% with about 0.32% CBD
  • Blim Burn Seeds (their own reproduction, not the Cookies cut): 15–17%
  • JointCommerce (aggregated dispensary COAs): legal-market lots usually 22–28%

Read that as a range, not a contradiction. Seed reproductions of a clone-only cut test below the original, which explains the 15–17% floor; licensed indoor runs of the real cut explain the 25%+ ceiling. The middle, 18–22%, is a decent bag.

Hemp labels work differently: compliant THCA flower is sold on its THCA number, since delta-9 must stay under 0.3% by dry weight while the THCA that converts under heat can be far higher. A 24% THCA hemp COA and a 24% THC dispensary COA land in the same place once you light it. See how to read a THCA COA, what counts as a good THCA percentage, and THCA vs THC.

Pink Rozay vs Similar Strains

  • vs London Pound Cake: its own parent — heavier, more menthol-and-OG. Pink Rozay keeps the weight, swaps in strawberry and florals.
  • vs Pink Runtz: both "pink," not related. Pink Runtz is candy-sweet and more balanced; Pink Rozay lands harder.
  • vs Lemon Cherry Gelato: closest flavor cousin, but LCG runs gassier and more head-forward.
  • vs Pink Kush: the older, kushier, vanilla-sweet pink. Similar sedation, very different nose.
  • vs Sunset Sherbet: its grandparent — creamier and lighter; Pink Rozay is denser and sleepier.
  • vs Ice Cream Cake: both deliver dessert flavor and full sedation. ICC is vanilla-forward; Pink Rozay is berry-and-rose.

Who Pink Rozay Is (and Isn't) For

It's for you if you smoke at night, you're bored of gas and cookie-dough, and you want something that genuinely smells floral. The rose-and-strawberry is distinctive, not a marketing phrase.

It's not for you if you need to stay productive — sleepy is in Leafly's top three — or if you're brand new, since dizziness and paranoia are two of Leafly's three negatives. Same lane, less weight: Strawberry 2.1 and Dayglow Mousse, both in stock.

How to Use Pink Rozay THCA Flower — and How Much

Raw THCA doesn't do much on its own — the acid form needs heat to drop its carboxyl group and become delta-9 THC. That's decarboxylation, and why a bowl hits and a raw nibble doesn't. See does THCA get you high.

  • Joint or pre-roll: best flavor on the first third. Dense buds want a coarse grind.
  • Dry-herb vape at 350–380°F: the best way to taste the linalool and limonene before they cook off.
  • Glass or bong: strongest per hit — take smaller ones than you think you need.
  • Edibles: decarb around 240°F for 30–40 minutes before infusing, then treat it as a 4–6 hour commitment.

Dosing: one or two small inhales, then wait twenty minutes. That's specific to this strain — the body effects arrive well after the head effects, and twenty minutes is exactly where people over-consume. Used to 18–20% flower? Treat anything above 24% THCA as a half portion.

Medicinal Benefits

None of this is a medical claim — it's what consumers report. Leafly's reader data shows anxiety at 27%, stress at 24% and depression at 15% as the top reasons people reach for Pink Rozay, and notes patients using it for chronic pain.

AllBud lists chronic pain, depression, fatigue and stress, with reviewers adding arthritis, fibromyalgia, neuropathy and sleep trouble; Leafwell reports anxiety and insomnia. The overlap across three sources — relaxation, sleep, pain, stress — is the honest summary. Caryophyllene is also the one terpene known to bind CB2 receptors directly: a mechanism, not an outcome. This is not medical advice. Talk to a physician before using any hemp product for a health condition, especially alongside prescription medication.

Side Effects and Cautions

Leafly's reported negatives are dry mouth, dizziness and paranoia. I Love Growing Marijuana adds dry eyes, thirst and mental haze. Leafwell lists dry eyes, dry mouth, paranoia — and oddly insomnia, which contradicts the sedation most reviewers describe.

Practically: water nearby, no stacking hits in the first twenty minutes, no driving. If you're anxiety-prone, start small — the early head rush is where racing thoughts get reported.

Is Pink Rozay Top Shelf? How to Judge a Good Bag

Top-shelf genetics don't make every bag top shelf:

  • Density without crunch. It should squeeze and spring back. These nugs are dense enough to hide rot — break one open.
  • Frost, not just color. Purple with no trichome coat is a grower chasing looks.
  • Floral on the nose before you grind. Without the rose note, it's generic indica.
  • Intact orange pistils. Browned, crumbling hairs mean age or handling.
  • A recent COA date. Cannabinoids and terpenes degrade — ours are on the lab results page.

Growing Pink Rozay

Caveat first: SeedFinder states the Cookie Fam Pink Rozay "is/was never available as feminized seeds." It's a clone-only cut, so every number below comes from third-party reproductions, not the real Cookies plant.

Blim Burn Seeds publish 8–10 weeks flowering, about 1.8 m of height, 400–450 g/m² indoors and 400–550 g per plant outdoors, and call their version beginner-suitable. I Love Growing Marijuana also gives 8–10 weeks indoors, harvests mid-to-late October outdoors, and SOG or ScrOG with early topping. Leafwell says 9–10 weeks.

The consistent warning is late-flower humidity: these buds hold moisture, so keep bloom RH near 40–45% for the final weeks and run real airflow.

Is Pink Rozay THCA Flower Legal?

Hemp-derived THCA flower is sold under the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp derivatives at no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight — see the USDA's hemp regulations. Raw, unheated compliant flower sits under that threshold, which makes it federally legal to ship.

State law is the variable part. Several states restrict high-THCA hemp and those rules change fast, so check yours first. We also don't ship any products to Colorado residents.

Drug tests: THCA flower will fail a standard urine screen — the test looks for THC metabolites, and heated THCA metabolizes identically to anything from a dispensary. See does THCA show up on a drug test.
